30 Days of Thanks: Day Thirteen

Today I am thankful for those precious, intimate moments with my daughter. This morning she woke up at about 7:30am – late for her lately. I brought her into my bed because I just wasn’t ready to get up. We laid there and both drifted back off to sleep.

When we woke up, we talked, played and looked out the window, (I love those mornings waking up to the sight of fog rolling through the trees or blossoms on the branches).

She heard Apollo meowing outside my door and said, “ooooo! Buh-Buh”, (that’s our nickname for Apollo). We chatted and giggled and enjoyed a beautiful autumn morning, cozy in bed.

I’ll never let this memory go, just like last year.
